What this webinar is about

A webinar focused on creating, visualizing, and processing architectural images in B&W and Color fine art style that captivates the viewer. Emphasis will be on doing justice to the qualification 'Fine art' and celebrating the architectural design. The former celebrates the artist by looking 'inside', the latter the architect by looking outside. Acknowledging and integrating both aspects results in Fine art architecture. Both are equally important aspects that will be discussed and demonstrated.

Outline

Everything needed to create fine art architectural images in a way that does justice to this genre and will make your work stand out artistically will be discussed. From the approach in the field to the use and importance of the tilt-shift lens, to advanced composition techniques. From image selection to image analysis behind the computer to deciding on the visual style. The final result will be achieved and demonstrated using Photoshop only, which will also include brief demonstrations of the best masking approach.

Why this webinar

Fine art architecture is not about taking poorly composed photos of architectural objects. Too often, these types of photos erroneously strive to emphasize dramatic effects with dark skies, long exposure effects, and unrealistic light effects. Unfortunately, that type of architectural photography has become synonymous with fine art architecture.  Fine art photography is not a visual style for drawing large followings on social media; it is an expression of one's inner world using architecture as the symbolic carrier of such expression and a celebration of the design. All, with the intention of having a high-quality physical and tangible print, not just a digital image on the Internet. As one of the pioneers of this style, it is my mission to demonstrate and give you my views on what 'Fine art architecture' truly is.
