Decoding Fine Art & Celebrating the Architecture Design
Weekend Workshop: 3-day Berlin architecture Workshop
We are pleased to announce our next Weekend Architecture Workshop in Berlin, taking place from March 13 to 15, 2026.
After attending this workshop, with like-minded people in an inspiring group, you will have gained valuable insights into fine art, post-processing, and architectural photography that go beyond the superficial and the mainstream. Read here for an impression of the previous Premium Workshops, and read some testimonials here
Three Intensive days of hands-on photography
We will spend 3 days in Berlin photographing a meaningful mix of modern and classic architecture. From iconic structures to the lesser-known buildings. From classic to modernism. We cover all essentials to do justice to the architectural design and the artistic expression in the image.
We will photograph a diverse mix of architectural structures that hold historical, cultural, or aesthetic significance to emphasize the importance of an emotional connection between the photographer and the architectural object.
On Location Shooting and Online Preparation
A 2-hour pre-workshop Zoom session precedes the workshop on location in Berlin, so you are optimally prepared for the on-location part. There is a 200+ page syllabus and 2 post-processing videos, which participants will receive at least 1 month before the on-location part in Berlin. Participants are encouraged to study these before the practical part in Berlin. The intention is to use the 3 days in Berlin exclusively for shooting with my personal guidance. As a Post-workshop, there will be 2 processing and Image review Zoom sessions.
You won’t find the typical composition techniques or mainstream ideas on fine art in our curriculum, but instead sophisticated composition techniques targeted at architectural photography and innovative ideas.
Two types of workshops
We offer two types of workshops: the compact 3-day Weekend workshop and the more comprehensive Premium workshops, which can range from 4 to 7 days. Premium workshops go deeper and are longer than the compact Weekend workshop. The Premium workshop that we are announcing simultaneously will take place in London in May 2026.
